Assia Chemical Industries Ltd. and other TAPI entities, depending on the role for which you apply (“TAPI”, “we”), will collect your identity and contact data, CV, and other information you provide or which we obtain, including from your device, when you visit and/or register on our Careers Site (“Site”) and during the application process (e.g., analysis of your skillset, interview notes, your social media information). The above is collected through online forms and questionnaires, calls, teleconferences, personal meetings.

We will use your data to register your account and process job applications for roles at TAPI that you apply for, to manage the talent pool, to carry out targeted marketing, administer and secure this Site, assure compliance, and collect analytics.

For these purposes, TAPI will share the data described above within TAPI entities as well as our preferred third-party suppliers, IT services providers, other recruitment agencies, social media companies and advertising partners.  

We may transfer your data outside the country or region where they were originally collected. The data protection laws in these countries may differ from the laws that apply in your country. In Europe and some other countries, we rely on contract clauses or adequacy decisions to secure the transfer.

We may need to transfer or disclose your personal data to TAPI affiliates globally within the TAPI group, internal TAPI teams which will include TAPI individuals supporting recruitment in HR and those Business Teams seeking individuals for roles in their area of the business. How we store your information

We retain all the information we gather about you until you ask us to change or remove your personal data. Interview notes and testing outcomes of unsuccessful applicants are deleted in accordance with legally required retention periods and our TAPI Records Retention Policy; in Europe, it is generally after three years other than where we are required to comply with country specific applicable law. Your rights

Under applicable law you may exercise certain rights in relation to your personal data that we processed. Security

TAPI takes measures to secure your personal data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. Data is transferred securely using SSL encryption and stored on secure servers. Additionally, we take further information security measures including access controls, stringent physical security and robust information collection, storage & processing practices. However, the internet is an open system and TAPI cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal data for improper purposes.

International transfers

TAPI is a global group of companies and as a result, your information may be transferred outside your country to one that may have different data protection laws. TAPI will always take steps to ensure your information is adequately protected if transferred to these countries. For the EEA, the UK and Switzerland when transferred to TAPI in Israel, this is protected under Israeli law which is recognized by the European Commission to provide adequate protection; when transferred to USA, TAPI generally relies upon European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum to those Standard Contractual Clauses.
